The Linda Loring Nature Foundation hosts a variety of speakers at their Science Pub gatherings. The miracle and mystery of the Monarch butterfly and why they are in decline will be presented by NLC Resource Ecologist Emily Molden. Monarch butterflies are revered for their stunning beauty, important role as a pollinator and astounding migration. Emily has been working with Nantucket students and community members to help track the eastern Monarchs’ fall migration since 2006.
